More Experts Speaking Out Against Carbon Pipelines, Citing Safety Concerns

Things are heating up as more citizen groups are demanding transparency with government created and funded Public Private Partnerships involving Carbon Sequestration and Storage.

Curtis Jundt, an engineer and pipeline expert, discussing the role of CO2 in plant growth and the implications of sequestering CO2.

Curtis raises concerns about the impact on corn yields and the need for more fertilizers and water if CO2 is sequestered. He also discusses safety hazards of carbon transportation and storage, as well as the denial of permits for a CO2 pipeline.

Curtis questions the involvement of companies like Halliburton and Schlumberger in carbon sequestration science and expresses concerns about potential faults in the Broom Creek formation and unknown factors of CO2 storage.

The reliability of current science and potential unintended consequences of long-term CO2 sequestration are also questioned. He also address safety concerns and develop mitigation plans for carbon transportation and storage.
