Fiserv: These Retail Categories Showed Gains In July
On a monthly basis, retail sales were up 2.5%, Transactions (+0.1%) edged higher, as increased average ticket sizes drove short-term spending — even as foot traffic remained relatively flat.
The latest Fiserv Small Business Index for July finds that retail spending growth remained strong — and a number of individual categories showed year-over-year gains.
